City approves a 9 percent budget increase

The city of Island Park in July approved 2007/08 budget at $137,300, a 9.2 percent increase over the current fiscal year, for which the city budgeted $125,900.

Almost 15 percent of the city's anticipated expenditures will be for legal fees.
